Internship : Apply for this Internship at UNESCO 

UNESCO is accepting applications for its Gender Equality Internship programme. Under the general supervision of the Chief of Policies and Strategies for Gender Equality and the Director of the Division for Gender Equality, the intern will perform the following duties as part of their overall assignment to support the Division's work:

The role involves monitoring and reporting on gender equality initiatives to fulfill UNESCO's strategic objectives. It involves evaluating materials and creating reports on women's empowerment.

The role also involves creating engaging content for the Division's website, planning conferences, events, and outreach programs, maintaining communication with partners, and contributing to training programs. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

The internship aims to provide professional experience in UNESCO's Priority Gender Equality implementation, enhance graduate-level coursework, and enhance knowledge of UNESCO's operations. Interns are not paid by UNESCO and receive 2.5 days of paid leave monthly.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must be enrolled in a graduate programme, be at least twenty years old, and have recently graduated in order to be considered for an internship. Professional, technical, or secretarial/assistant jobs necessitate specialised education or a recent degree. It is necessary to be proficient in either French or English and to have an understanding of computer systems and office software. Additionally crucial are strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
