Content is Queen is excited to announce the latest round of applications for its Micro-Grants for Podcasters Programme. Open to creators worldwide, this initiative aims to support innovative podcast projects and, for the first time, will operate through CIQ’s marketplace. This platform brings together creators, advertisers, and commissioners to transform the audio industry.

The programme is designed to help podcasters overcome challenges in bringing their ideas to life. Whether you’re developing a compelling trailer, launching a unique pilot, or producing a standout episode for an existing series, these micro-grants provide the support needed to turn your vision into reality.

Participants in the programme will benefit from a range of resources. Selected creators will gain access to professional production assistance, including studio time, producers, editors, and the Epidemic Sound library, all provided by Content is Queen. Additionally, participants will have the rare opportunity to pitch their projects directly to Audible, potentially securing further development and commissioning for their shows.

The grant amounts are tailored to suit the scope and requirements of individual projects. Content is Queen is offering a total of twenty grants, split into ten grants of £1,000 each and ten grants of £500 each, ensuring a broad range of creators can benefit.

Eligibility extends to individuals globally, whether they are new or experienced podcasters. The programme strongly encourages applications from underrepresented communities, including disabled individuals, people from low-income backgrounds, racialized groups etc.  Applicants must be at least 18 years old to apply.

This initiative is a valuable opportunity for aspiring and established podcasters to gain the resources and connections necessary to elevate their creative projects.
