Role Overview

The Project and Policy Officer will play a key role in advancing RREUSE’s mission by contributing to EU-funded projects and engaging with policy initiatives. Reporting to the Environmental Policy Lead, this individual will actively participate in a Horizon2020 project focused on circular textiles, draft position papers on key environmental regulations, and represent RREUSE in conferences and stakeholder events. Additional responsibilities include organizing events, supporting the revision of the WEEE Directive, contributing to research on best practices, and assisting with administrative tasks.

Desired Profile

RREUSE is seeking a motivated professional with academic or practical experience in EU affairs, the circular economy, or the textile industry. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, a demonstrated ability to work with diverse stakeholders, and excellent written and spoken English. Fluency in additional European languages is a plus. Organizational skills, intercultural sensitivity, and a passion for social enterprise and sustainability are essential. Candidates must already have the legal right to work in Belgium, as RREUSE cannot sponsor work permits or visas.
