The Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering Foundation invites public nominations that recognise a wide range of engineering achievements from all sectors of the profession, as well as a diverse range of nominators from around the world.Judging Criteria

The selection of the recipient(s) for the Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering will be based on the following key considerations:

What significant and groundbreaking contribution in engineering has the individual (or group of up to ten individuals) made?
How has this innovation positively impacted humanity on a global scale?
Are there any other individuals who could reasonably be recognized for playing a crucial role in this achievement?

The £500,000 award is recognized as the world’s most esteemed honor in engineering, presented to up to 10 engineers who have contributed to a bold and pioneering innovation that delivers significant global benefits to humanity.

Eligibility Criteria

The QEPrize is an international award that invites nominations from around the world.
The only restriction is that self-nomination and posthumous nomination are not permitted.
This will be a single prize granted to one individual or a team of up to ten people who are responsible for a groundbreaking engineering breakthrough that has had a global impact on humanity.
