This initiative is part of the broader UN Climate Change Sports for Climate Action Framework, a powerful tool established in 2018 to guide the sports sector toward meaningful climate engagement. With over 250 member organizations, the framework leverages the global influence of sport to drive systemic change and environmental stewardship.

1. Introduction to Sports for Climate Action
Perfect for beginners or anyone interested in how sport relates to climate change.

  • Duration: ~1 hour 20 minutes
  • Format: Interactive lessons, videos, quizzes & activities
  • Topics: Sport’s impact on climate, and vice versa, plus solutions for resilience and sustainability.

2. Sports for Climate Action (Advanced Course)
Ideal for staff and decision-makers in sports organizations.

  • Duration: ~4 hours
  • Format: In-depth modules, case studies, expert interviews & exercises
  • Focus: Operational strategies, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable business planning.
