Applications are now being accepted for the 2025 edition of the Women in Tech Incubator Program hosted by Standard Chartered Bank Ghana PLC. This initiative, now in its fifth cycle, is conducted in collaboration with Village Capital and executed by the Ghana Climate Innovation Centre. It is a key component of Standard Chartered’s global Futuremakers initiative, focused on equipping female-led and female-owned businesses with essential skills, knowledge, and financial resources to scale their technology-driven solutions. The program is designed to foster innovation and create lasting environmental and economic impact across Ghana through the empowerment of women entrepreneurs.

In a bold move to promote broader participation, this year’s cohort is placing special emphasis on inclusivity. Women entrepreneurs with disabilities are particularly encouraged to apply. Additionally, the program will prioritize applicants from historically marginalized areas such as the Upper East, Upper West, Northeast, Savannah, and Central regions of Ghana. Five exceptional ventures from the program will each receive non-dilutive funding of $10,000 to help accelerate their business growth.

To be eligible, applicants must be Ghanaian women who own at least half of a legally registered business that has been in operation for at least one year. Their business must incorporate a form of technology or innovation in its product or service delivery and clearly demonstrate potential for positive societal, economic, or environmental change. Participants must also commit to completing the full duration of the incubator program.

Successful candidates will gain access to a transformative entrepreneurial experience that includes advanced business training, often referred to as a “Mini MBA,” covering leadership, enterprise development, and digital innovation. Participants will also receive customized mentorship and advisory sessions from seasoned industry professionals. Networking opportunities will be made available through workshops and masterclasses featuring accomplished business leaders. Additional support services, including legal, financial, and tech-related guidance, will be provided to help participants build resilient and scalable businesses. At the end of the program, the top five entrepreneurs will be awarded $10,000 grants, without the need to give up equity.
