The YOUNGO Energy Working Group is inviting applications for four Coordinator positions. These roles are designed for individuals under 35 who are passionate, knowledgeable, and committed to advancing global and local energy initiatives.

Successful candidates will be expected to work in accordance with the group's policies, YOUNGO's terms and conditions, and internal protocols, dedicating approximately 3-4 hours per week while consistently meeting agreed deadlines.

Available Coordinator Roles:

1. Internal Relations Coordinator
   • Fostering Cross-Group Collaboration: Acts as a liaison between different Working Groups (WGs) to promote cohesive cooperation.
   • Communications Oversight: Manages internal communication across YOUNGO platforms.
   • Team Coordination: Facilitates effective teamwork and ensures smooth coordination among members.
   • Liaison Role: Maintains active communication with Global Youth Structures (GYS) and cross-Global Coordination Teams (GCT) to share insights and strategies.
2. External Relations Coordinator
   • Digital Outreach & Media Management: Identifies suitable digital platforms for content distribution and manages social media channels.
   • Event Mapping: Identifies and maps relevant energy-related events for strategic engagement.
   • Stakeholder Engagement: Establishes and nurtures relationships with governmental bodies and local Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to build a robust network.
3. Energy Governance & Reform Coordinator
   • Position Development: Refines the group's stance on UN Energy Governance initiatives and collaborates on new position papers with other youth energy groups.
   • Advocacy & Lobbying: Leads lobbying efforts to influence energy governance reforms.
   • Content Framework Development: Develops frameworks for short articles and authorship standards, while enhancing the Energy Survey for better insights.
4. Capacity Building Coordinator
   • Program Development: Designs and implements a successor event series to the successful Energy COP.
   • Event Coordination: Oversees the planning and execution of the Energy Puzzle 2.0 and Energy Shots 2.0 series.
   • Inter-Group Synergy: Maps and facilitates synergies with other working groups for comprehensive capacity building.
5. Communication & Outreach Initiatives (Supplementary Responsibilities)
   • Podcast Production: Coordinates a 15-minute podcast series, released monthly or bi-monthly.
   • Team Collaboration: Works closely with a rotating team of hosts and guests for each podcast session.
   • Social Media Outreach: Leads calls for Social Media Ambassadors to boost digital engagement.
