Applications are now open for the Startup Africa Roadtrip 2025, a fully sponsored initiative created to empower outstanding entrepreneurs and innovators across East Africa. This program offers a unique opportunity for startup founders to benefit from hands-on mentorship, tailored training, investor linkages, and collaboration with key ecosystem players. Organized by BeEntrepreneurs, a non-profit organization with a proven track record of hosting successful bootcamps in cities like Kampala, Kigali, and Nairobi, this year’s edition will be hosted in Dar es Salaam from August 11th to 15th, 2025.

This exciting program aims to discover and support creative minds—startup leaders, developers, and changemakers—who are building impactful and scalable ventures. Selected participants will engage in an intensive week of training at no cost, during which they will polish their business models, strengthen their pitches, and engage in mentorship tailored to their venture’s growth. At the end of the bootcamp, the top-performing startups will be selected to travel to Italy in 2026, where they’ll present their ideas to European investors, institutions, and innovation hubs.

The roadtrip experience is more than just a bootcamp—it’s a launchpad for African innovation on a global scale. The initiative welcomes entrepreneurs working on bold solutions that address pressing local issues while also having the potential for regional or international expansion. Participants will join a diverse community of innovators and gain practical skills in pitching, business storytelling, and investor engagement, while also forging meaningful relationships with stakeholders from both Africa and Europe.

Startups from across Africa are encouraged to apply, especially those developing solutions in areas such as education, health, agriculture, fintech, environment, tourism, blue economy, and logistics. While applications from all regions are welcome, special consideration will be given to teams based in East Africa. Please note that while participation in the bootcamp is fully covered, selected founders will need to fund their own travel and stay in Dar es Salaam.
