Upon successful completion of key program milestones, participants receive an official digital badge from McKinsey.org, which can be shared on LinkedIn and other professional platforms to enhance their career profile. The program’s flexible design allows participants to balance learning with their existing professional and personal commitments.
Eligibility Criteria
The McKinsey.org Forward Program in Africa is open to individuals who are currently residing in any African country. Applicants should be early-career professionals with fewer than five years of total work experience. This includes individuals who are employed, self-employed, or currently between jobs but have had prior work exposure such as internships, part-time roles, apprenticeships, or full-time employment. Candidates must have completed at least a high school level of education or its equivalent.

The program is particularly suited for young professionals looking to strengthen their workplace effectiveness, improve their leadership potential, and gain structured career development support. Since the program is delivered in English, applicants should be comfortable learning and engaging with materials in English. The initiative welcomes participants from diverse sectors including private companies, startups, nonprofits, and social enterprises.
