USD 5,000 GRANT: Global Centre for Climate Mobility has launched applications for the African Climate Mobility Youth Solutions grants!
The Africa Climate Mobility Initiative (ACMI) and the Global Centre for Climate Mobility (GCCM) Solutions Lab have opened applications for young individuals, groups, or organizations in Africa aged 18-35 to submit innovative climate mobility projects.
Successful applicants can receive funding of up to $5,000 per project. This initiative, supported by the Robert Bosch Stiftung, aims to empower African youth to address climate-induced migration and displacement issues in the region.
The projects should focus on climate resilience in disaster-prone areas, addressing the needs of climate migrants, refugees, and those at risk of displacement. The projects should align with thematic areas such as loss and damage, climate literacy, storytelling and art for climate awareness, ecosystem restoration, green job creation, and policy and advocacy.
The deadline for application submission is October 30, 2023, at 23:59 EAT.

A quick reminder: To meet eligibility criteria, you must be between 18 and 35 years old on the application deadline date. It's important to emphasize that you must have African roots to be considered for this opportunity.
