The 2024 Global Internship Programme (GIP) of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) is currently accepting applications. Through the Global Internship Programme (GIP), highly motivated individuals can join the world's biggest private sector development institution and gain exposure to the goals and operations of the IFC and the larger World Bank Group.

The program helps participants develop their abilities in a multicultural and extremely dynamic atmosphere while encouraging them to contribute fresh viewpoints and creative ideas to IFC's work. Additionally, the Global Internship Program offers a singular chance to network and share ideas with global experts committed to eradicating extreme poverty and promoting prosperity in developing nations.

For a minimum of four weeks between May and September, IFC is employing Global Interns to work on discrete projects in Washington, D.C. or one of its national or regional offices. There are chances to participate virtually. Sector-specific market mapping, financial modelling, portfolio management, upstream work, and consulting services are examples of operational assignments. After graduation, successful interns are encouraged to apply to full-time programs such as the WBG Young Professionals Program.

Responsibilities and obligations:

- Perform industry and market research
- Examine financial records and create financial models.
- Research the firm using the IDD process.
- As appropriate, assist with other team initiatives.
