In order to contribute to our goal of becoming a center for cutting-edge and significant logistics solutions, we are looking for a dynamic Logistics Intern to join our startup-like team.

Under the direction of the Hub Manager and Unit Head of Logistics, the intern will work under technical supervision, technical mentorship, and guidance. They will work with goods forwarders, develop logistical documents, and support tendering.

They will also keep an eye on food disposal procedures and shelf life. In addition, the intern will draft concept notes for creative supply chain initiatives that make use of AI, digitization, and UAE technology.

The job description is for a 6 month logistics internship in Dubai, UAE, with an expected start date of May/June 2024.

Depending on the duty station of assignment, interns get a monthly stipend from WFP up to a maximum of US$1000.
Eligibility Criteria
Enrolled in or recently completed a degree programme in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a similar field. WFP interns must have finished their undergraduate degree in at least two years, or if they are recent graduates, they must have attended classes during the previous year;
strong data analysis, report writing, and communication abilities with an eye for detail.
a cooperative attitude and the capacity to function well in a fast-paced team setting. willingness to share ideas and assist colleagues with a range of duties.
shown concern for humanitarian causes and a dedication to having a beneficial influence.
the capacity to operate in a fast-paced atmosphere and adjust to shifting objectives. a proactive mindset and an eagerness to try new things.
competent in both Arabic and English.
