For the annual Steward Leadership 25 (SL25) award, which honours 25 economically viable solutions for the environment and society, applications are now being accepted.

SL25 is in its fourth iteration, celebrating 75 impact stories and showcasing new solutions that achieve success by doing good.

SL25 is collaboratively established by Stewardship Asia Centre, the INSEAD Hoffmann Global Institute for Business and Society, WTW and The Straits Times.

Judging Criteria

The SL25 awards recognize solutions that are financially self-sustaining while benefiting both the environment and society. Winning solutions demonstrate exceptional leadership in stewardship.

Purpose
The solution aligns closely with the organization’s mission and core values of stewardship.

Impact
The solution has made a significant transformation in the environment, community, or society, with an impact that exceeds expectations relative to the organization’s size.

Exceeding Standards
The solution goes beyond compliance with regulations or industry standards, demonstrating speed, extensive geographic reach, and notable stakeholder impact. Regulations and industry standards are clearly defined.

Financial Sustainability
The solution demonstrates a self-sustaining financial model that ensures its ability to continue and scale without requiring additional capital.

Innovation
The solution is a pioneering approach within its industry or country, offering a financially self-sustaining resolution to an environmental or social challenge.

Future Plans
The solution outlines clear short- and long-term objectives that are SMART: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound. The organization presents actionable plans and steps to achieve these goals.
