The Centre for International Postgraduate Studies of Environmental Management (CIPSEM) at TU Dresden has opened applications for its 2026/2027 international training programme in environmental management. Hosted in Dresden, Germany, the programme brings together professionals from around the world to strengthen capacity in sustainability, climate action, and environmental governance.

For the 2026/2027 academic cycle, CIPSEM will deliver two international short courses, one alumni seminar, and its flagship postgraduate programme. These courses are designed for professionals working in environmental management, forestry, land use, climate adaptation, and sustainable development—particularly from developing and emerging economies.

SC94 – Restoring the Green: Sustainable Principles and Practices in Forest Restoration

Format: In-person (Dresden, Germany)
Duration: 20 August – 16 September 2026 (4 weeks)
Application Period: 21 January – 24 February 2026

This short course focuses on forest landscape restoration, ecosystem recovery, and sustainable forestry practices. Participants will explore policy frameworks, biodiversity conservation strategies, and practical restoration techniques aligned with global environmental goals.

SC95 – Circular Solutions for Sustainable Construction and Land Management

Format: In-person (Dresden, Germany)
Duration: 12 November – 9 December 2026 (4 weeks)
Application Period: 27 January – 3 March 2026

SC95 examines circular economy principles within the construction and land management sectors. The programme highlights sustainable materials, land-use efficiency, waste reduction strategies, and environmental planning approaches that support low-impact development.

EM50 – 50th International Postgraduate Course on Environmental Management for Developing Countries

Format: In-person (Dresden, Germany)
Duration: 14 January – 16 July 2027 (6 months)
Application Period: 9 February – 17 March 2026

The flagship postgraduate course provides in-depth training in environmental governance, policy analysis, sustainable resource management, and climate resilience. Designed for mid-career professionals, the programme strengthens leadership and technical expertise for advancing sustainable development in home countries.
