Apply for the YCW London 2026 Mentorship Programme

Young China Watchers (YCW) London has opened applications for its 2026 Mentorship Programme, offering a unique chance for early-career professionals and students to receive personalised guidance from leading experts across multiple sectors.

This annual programme is designed to support young talent in shaping their professional path, particularly those interested in understanding China’s role in global affairs and applying that knowledge in their careers.

About the Programme

The mentorship initiative connects selected applicants with experienced professionals from government, finance, technology, policy, journalism, business, law, and other fields. Many past mentors are well-established leaders, and previous mentees have gone on to secure positions in Greater China, the UK civil service, multinational financial institutions, and academic programmes.

The 2026 cohort will follow a year-long mentoring structure, with regular one-to-one sessions and access to exclusive events organised specifically for participants. Mentors and mentees are matched according to shared interests and professional aspirations to ensure a meaningful and effective experience.

YCW London also welcomes expressions of interest from experienced professionals looking to serve as mentors.

Don't miss out on the application deadline which is 21 December 2025.
