Applications are now open for the 2026 YDN Global Assembly hosted by Youth Democracy Network. The international gathering will take place in Panama City from 26–27 June 2026 under the theme:

“Democratic Leadership: Built by Generations, Led by the Next.”

The Assembly will bring together emerging young leaders, policymakers, civil society organizations, universities, and democracy advocates from around the world to strengthen intergenerational collaboration and advance democratic participation.

Held alongside major international events including the Community of Democracies Ministerial Conference and the OAS General Assembly, the programme aims to amplify youth leadership in governance, civic engagement, and democratic innovation.

About the Assembly

The YDN Global Assembly serves as a global platform for dialogue, networking, collaboration, and leadership development focused on democracy and civic participation.

Participants will engage in discussions addressing the future of democratic systems, youth representation, education, governance, and international cooperation.

About the Organizers

The Youth Democracy Network is a global platform connecting young leaders from more than 80 countries across Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America. The network works to strengthen youth participation in democratic governance and policy processes through leadership development, collaboration, and advocacy.
