Young people across the UK now have a unique opportunity to apply for a spot on a national youth delegation representing the country at three prominent global summits. Applications are open to join a delegation that will engage in high-level discussions, address pressing issues, and contribute to shaping the future across various international platforms.

Delegation Opportunities Available

The youth delegation program will select representatives for three major events:

•The Y7 Summit in Canada, scheduled for Spring 2025, which gathers youth leaders from G7 nations to address global challenges and advocate for youth-centered policy solutions.

•The Y20 Summit in South Africa, planned for Summer 2025, where youth from G20 countries will discuss and propose solutions for economic, social, and political challenges facing young people worldwide.

•COP30 in Brazil, occurring in November 2025, which will focus on critical climate issues, allowing youth delegates to contribute to and witness global climate negotiations firsthand.

Information Panels for Interested Applicants

To help prospective delegates understand the scope and impact of these events, the delegation program will host two informational panels, each focusing on key issues that align with the respective summits:

•Geopolitics and Economic Panel on 28 November, which will explore the international political and economic issues central to summits like the Y7 and Y20.

•Climate Panel on 8 December, focusing on the environmental priorities and climate advocacy efforts that will be central at COP30.

These panels aim to provide insights from past delegates and experts, offering a glimpse into the experience of representing the UK on the global stage.
