The SADC FANR Directorate, with financial and technical backing from the European Commission and the German Government’s Federal Press Office, is offering a new capacity-building opportunity under the Joint Action NaturAfrica/Climate Resilience and Natural Resource Management (C-NRM) Programme. The initiative is implemented by GIZ in collaboration with the Sustainable Finance Coalition.

Individuals and organisations active in Transfrontier Conservation Areas (TFCAs) are invited to express interest in joining the fully sponsored 2025/26 Resource Mobilisation Capacity Building and Coaching Programme.

The initiative is designed to equip participants with the skills needed to attract funding, strengthen financial oversight, develop partnerships, and craft compelling proposals.

The programme also helps organisations align their work with emerging sustainable finance frameworks and introduces practical training on accessing such mechanisms—including opportunities available through the SADC TFCA Finance Facility.

Important Deadlines:

• Submission of Expressions of Interest: 12 December 2025 (23:59 CAT)

• Notification of Selected Participants: 16 January 2026
