Calling all climate educators and teen climate activists: join this fully funded climate change challenge for chance to attend COP28!

Digital Camp, in collaboration with Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, is extending an invitation to students (aged 15-18) and teachers worldwide to engage in the Burjeel Holdings-Oxford Saïd Climate Change Challenge. This initiative aims to address the climate crisis and offers participants the opportunity to develop green tech projects and gain invaluable experiences.
Harness your innovative thinking, creativity, and problem-solving abilities to devise solutions at local, national, or global levels within five crucial climate change challenge areas:
1. Air pollution
2. Extreme Weather Events
3. Food Security
4. The Spread of Disease Carried by Insects
5. Water Scarcity
Digital Camp will provide guidance on preparation, building green tech projects, and launching your own business, all with the support of mentors!
Why Should You Participate in the Challenge?
By taking part in the Climate Change Challenge, you will:
- Acquire valuable experience in creating green tech projects.
- Earn a certificate to enhance your CV and LinkedIn profile.
- Learn from industry experts and sustainability professionals.
Finalists of the Climate Change Challenge will have the opportunity to present their solutions in Dubai during COP28 on December 8, 2023. Winners will be invited to the United Kingdom, where they will partake in a customized climate change program at Saïd Business School in Oxford next year, guided by world-leading academics.
For finalists and winners, all expenses will be covered by Burjeel Holdings and Oxford Saïd. Additionally, they will gain access to a dynamic community of influential entrepreneurs and thought leaders in innovation and social impact from across the globe.

Eligibility Criteria
We invite you to present your significant idea, share your sources of inspiration, explain how it can bring about change, and consider the practical steps to turn your solution into reality. Your team can consist of 3-5 students aged 15-18, and individual entries will not be accepted. Submissions should meet the following criteria:

For Student Teams:
- Comprise a team of 3-5 students aged 15-18.
- Be submitted as a 10-page PowerPoint presentation.
- Include a video, limited to three minutes in duration, that you have created.
- Include a completed consent form for each student, signed by a parent or guardian.

For Teachers:
- Be submitted by individual teachers; team entries are not eligible.
- Take the form of lesson plans that integrate climate change awareness into your school's curriculum.
- Incorporate interactive activities to stimulate critical thinking.
- Demonstrate how these plans assist students in devising practical solutions to address climate change.
