FULLY FUNDED: Apply for the Danish Government Scholarship 2023-24

The Danish Government Scholarship for 2023-2024 is now open for international students interested in pursuing masters studies in Denmark. This fully funded scholarship covers full tuition fees and provides a monthly grant of DKK 6090 before taxes to help with living costs.

Southern Denmark University, a world-class institution and among the top 50 universities globally, offers a wide range of educational programs, including Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD programs. With a strong global focus, the university provides excellent opportunities for student life to thrive in a diverse and enriching environment.

The scholarship is available to all full-degree international students from countries outside Europe, including the EU/EEA countries and Cultural Agreements for Exchange and Guest Students. Its main aim is to recognize the significant investment made by foreign learners in their education by granting full tuition fee waivers and grants.

The Danish Government Scholarships cover various degree programs, including Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD degrees, with different durations for each level of study. It is a wonderful opportunity for students from all over the world to pursue their studies at top universities in Denmark.

The scholarship program is supported by the Ministry of Higher Education and Science, and eight universities in Denmark participate in offering these opportunities to international students.

Financial Coverage

The Danish Government Scholarship offers a comprehensive coverage to its recipients, including a full tuition fee waiver and a grant to assist with living costs, amounting to DKK 6090 per month before taxes.

To be eligible for the Danish Government Scholarship, candidates must meet the following requirements:

1. Language Proficiency: Applicants must have English language skills equivalent to the Danish B level if they plan to take courses in English. Exchange students can provide evidence of their language proficiency through the language requirement form or their secondary school leaving certificate (with a minimum of 210 hours at high school level) or an IELTS score of at least 6.5 or a TOEFL score of at least 575 (paper-based), 230 (computer-based), or 88 (internet-based).

2. Country of Origin: The scholarship is open to candidates from all countries worldwide, except for those in the EU/EEA.

3. Tuition Fees: To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be from a non-EU/EEA country and be required to pay tuition fees.

Additionally, for exchange or guest students planning to pursue courses at the master's level, they must have completed coursework equivalent to 180 ECTS credits (equivalent to three years of studies) at the university level. It is essential to check the general entry requirements for all exchange and guest students.

The Danish Government Scholarship provides an excellent opportunity for eligible candidates from around the world to pursue higher education in Denmark and benefit from the full tuition fee waiver and financial support for living expenses.
