FULLY FUNDED : Apply for The IAEA Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellowship Programme (MSCFP)
The Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellowship Programme (MSCFP) of the IAEA aims to encourage and assist young women who wish to work in the nuclear industry.
In order to that goal, the MSCFP offers internship opportunities supported by IAEA in addition to scholarships to chosen students pursuing master's degrees in nuclear-related fields.
Study areas
In order to advance the safe, secure, and peaceful uses of nuclear science and technology, such as nuclear engineering, nuclear physics and chemistry, nuclear medicine, isotope techniques, radiation biology, nuclear safety, nuclear security, non-proliferation, and nuclear law, the program supports young women pursuing these and related fields. Additional Information
Female candidates who have been accepted into or enrolled in a master's program in a nuclear-related field at an authorised university.
Applicants with above average academic qualifications (75% or above or GPA > 3.0 out of 4.0) will be given preference.
- A copy of your Passport or National ID.
- An official acceptance or admission letter from the university confirming your enrollment in the master’s program, specifying the nuclear-related field of study and the program's duration.
- A statement or confirmation of tuition fees.
- If applicable, documentation of any other scholarships you have for the master's program for which you are seeking MSCFP support.
- Completed reference templates must be sent directly to MSCFP by referees by the application deadline (download the form here). One reference is mandatory, and a second is preferred.
Important Note: All application documents must be submitted in English via the MSCFP online application form. If documents are in their original language, an official English translation must be included. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Selection Process:
Applications are evaluated by the IAEA MSCFP Technical Selection Committee based on MSCFP selection criteria, which include the applicant's entry requirements, educational background, prior achievements, motivation, and the fellowship's impact on the applicant’s career goals and commitment to public service. Factors such as geographic location, field of study, and linguistic diversity are also considered.
All applicants will be notified of the decision via email.
