Applications are now open for the Fully Funded Youth Scholarship supporting participation in the 9th RHNK Pan-African Adolescent and Youth Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (AYSRHR) Scientific Conference 2026.
The initiative is designed to empower young African leaders working to advance sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) through innovation, advocacy, research, and community action.
Organised by the Reproductive Health Network Kenya in partnership with the International Planned Parenthood Federation Africa Region, the scholarship enables youth changemakers to actively contribute to one of Africa’s leading SRHR knowledge-sharing platforms.
About the Conference
The 2026 conference will convene young leaders, researchers, policymakers, civil society organisations, and development partners from across Africa.
Theme:
Strengthening SRHR to Advance Youth Agency, Full Potential and Meaningful Engagement in Africa’s Evolving Socio-Political and Economic Landscape.
The event aims to:
- Strengthen youth leadership in SRHR advocacy and programming
- Promote innovation and research exchange
- Encourage collaboration between youth and decision-makers
- Support resilient and inclusive health systems across Africa
Priority Consideration
Additional consideration will be given to:
- Youth contributing to conference planning processes
- Applicants with accepted abstracts or research presentations
- Young leaders demonstrating measurable community impact in SRHR work
