Eligibility:
To be eligible for the Government of Canada International Scholarships at the University of Alberta, applicants must fulfill the following criteria:
- Undergraduate applicants seeking research-based opportunities should provide an institutional collaboration agreement or a Letter of Invitation from a University of Alberta professor willing to supervise them.
- Graduate applicants may benefit from an inter-institutional agreement but it's not mandatory.
- Students must be enrolled full-time in their intended degree program during the application.
- Proficiency in the language of instruction (English or French) at the Canadian institution is required before arrival since language training is not covered by the scholarship.
