Applications are open for the Youth Climate and Climate-Health Action Forum 2026, organised by Green Health Africa (GHA), a youth-led organisation in Ethiopia working at the intersection of climate change and health. The forum will bring young people together to explore how climate-health evidence can be translated into practical, sustained action, while placing youth leadership at the centre of climate and public health discussions.

The two-day forum will take place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on 27–28 October 2026. The opportunity is specifically intended for Ethiopian youth residing outside Addis Ababa, with selected participants receiving full funding that includes round-trip travel and accommodation.

About the Forum

Climate change increasingly affects public health through rising temperatures, extreme weather events, environmental degradation and other climate-related risks. Addressing these challenges requires young people to participate meaningfully in developing and implementing solutions.

Through this forum, Green Health Africa aims to strengthen youth engagement in climate-health action by creating space for dialogue, evidence-sharing and practical approaches that can support continued action beyond the event.
