By demanding the financial resources required to give Africans access to the economy and better quality of life, ONE works to establish a more equitable world. They are seeking enthusiastic activists to be a part of their first-ever ONE Canada Global Activist programme. Emerging leaders who will promote causes ONE supports across Canada will be sought out, trained, and assisted by ONE. Working in a supportive atmosphere with mission-driven ONE supporters is an amazing opportunity to have a positive influence on the globe and your community.

As part of this position, ONE Activists will get assistance in creating and refining their own action plans in collaboration with the ONE team, as well as access to a variety of advocacy resources and activities. They must do a variety of tasks, which may include but are not restricted to:

Write letters, present petition signatures from ONE supporters to local MP offices, send Letters to the Editor to local news outlets, call elected officials, and/or tweet at political leaders to take high impact action 1-2 times a month.
Under the guidance of the Campaigns Manager, take part in in-person and virtual meetings with your Member of Parliament and/or their staff.

Join ONE staff and activists nationwide for updates on campaigns, news on international development and global health, and trainings during our monthly virtual national training calls.
As much as you can, go to events in person in your city.
