The Loss and Damage Collaboration, in partnership with the Climate Leadership Initiative, is currently inviting applications for the "New Generation Fellowship Programme on Loss and Damage."
This program is designed for individuals aged 22 to 35 from the Global South and provides a significant honorarium. It places a strong emphasis on mentorship, specialized workshops, and comprehensive resources to equip participants in tackling climate change challenges.

Additional Information
1. Valuable mentorship from renowned climate experts and senior negotiators from the Global South.
2. Bi-weekly coaching sessions covering essential topics such as confidence, communication, personal development, and mental health.
3. Bi-weekly workshops focusing on building knowledge in the field of Loss and Damage.
4. Access to resources and opportunities for capacity building in Loss and Damage through engagement with the Loss and Damage Collaboration, a community of over 200 experts in this field.
5. An honorarium of 1500 USD provided to each selected fellow to support communication-related expenses throughout the fellowship.
Through these activities and resources, our aim is to equip a new generation of climate negotiators from the Global South with comprehensive knowledge and understanding of key issues related to Loss and Damage. This will enhance the capabilities of youth-led initiatives and developing countries to actively participate in Loss and Damage negotiations.
As one of the six fellows, your direct engagement with your country's delegations will establish you as a legitimate source and mediator of knowledge for your governments. The program will empower you to advocate more effectively for the needs of your countries, regions, and the vulnerable populations and communities within them. By the end of the fellowship, you will have acquired the skills to effectively communicate the concept of Loss and Damage to various audiences, including the development of policy briefs.
