FULLY FUNDED TO COP29: Apply for this COP29 Simulation for a chance to be fully funded to the actual COP29 in Azerbaijani!

The British University in Egypt and UNDP Egypt are thrilled to announce the third edition of their annual climate conference, a youth-led initiative that simulates the Conference of the Parties (COP) and brings together students from around the world to engage with climate stakeholders. Building on the success of the previous two editions, this year's event is held in collaboration with ADA University in Azerbaijan, the host country of COP29. The conference features a range of activities, including:

- A virtual training program on climate change, diplomacy, and negotiation skills, led by global experts
- Mentored research projects on climate-related topics, guided by experienced professionals and academics
- A mock COP conference at The British University in Egypt, where students take on the roles of country delegates and negotiators to discuss and vote on their research-based proposals
- A declaration summarizing the outcomes of the mock conference, which will be presented at the actual COP
- A select group of students will be funded to attend COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan, to share the declaration and participate in the conference's blue and green zone sessions.
