Climate Mobility Pavilion at COP29
The Global Centre for Climate Mobility (GCCM) will host the Climate Mobility Pavilion (CMP) at COP29 in Baku from 11 to 22 November. The CMP will serve as a key platform to highlight the urgent issue of climate-induced migration and displacement, emphasizing the necessity for people-centered climate action.
Climate Mobility Pavilion Youth Programme
The GCCM’s Youth Forums, under various climate mobility initiatives, invite applications for the CMP Youth Programme at COP29. This programme aims to unite young leaders to push forward climate action, focusing on the world's most vulnerable regions. Selected delegates will receive capacity-building opportunities, speaking engagements, and access to meetings with key policymakers, philanthropists, and civil society leaders.
Up to 30 delegates will be chosen for the CMP Youth Programme. The selection process will ensure gender balance and represent a broad range of experiences with climate impacts and mobility, particularly from highly vulnerable communities. Travel expenses and accommodation for selected delegates will be covered.
