Calling all young changemakers! Are you passionate about the environment and social justice? Do you want to amplify your voice on the critical issue of climate migration and its impact on millions worldwide, including youth and children? Do you have a personal story to share about migration or displacement due to climate change? Here's your chance to join the International Organization for Migration's (IOM) COP29 Youth Delegates on Climate Migration and be part of the global conversation in Azerbaijan!

As a youth delegate, you'll:

- Learn from experts and contribute to global discussions on climate change and migration
- Develop your skills in advocacy, communication, and leadership
- Network with like-minded youth activists and organizations
- Represent the voice of young people and influence global policy

To apply, you must:

- Be 18-30 years old
- Have a valid travel document and ability to attend COP29 in person

Eligibility Criteria
Here are the eligibility criteria for joining the IOM COP29 Youth Delegates on Climate Migration:

Eligibility:

1. _Age_: Be between 18 and 30 years old at the time of the COP29 conference.

2. _Travel Documents_: Hold a valid travel document (passport) and be able to travel to Azerbaijan.

3. _Interest and Experience_: Demonstrate interest and experience in migration and climate change issues, preferably with a focus on one or more of the following themes:
- Human mobility
- Disaster risk reduction
- Adaptation
- Mitigation
- Resilience
- Human rights
- Gender
- Youth empowerment
- Water scarcity
- Security and peace
- Urban-rural dynamics
- Social inclusion

4. _Leadership and Engagement_: Show a proven record of leadership and engagement in your community, organization, or network on migration and climate change issues.

5. _Availability_: Be available to participate fully in COP29 and in the pre-COP29 activities organized by IOM.

6. _Language_: Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of other UN languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish) is an asset.

7. _Nationality_: Be a national of a country eligible to participate in the IOM COP29 Youth Delegates program.

Note: Additional eligibility criteria may apply, and IOM reserves the right to make the final selection of delegates.
