Prize Details
The application that takes first place will receive a fully funded 2-month incubation program at the GCSP’s Creative Spark in Geneva, valued at CHF 15,000, along with a certificate of excellence. The two remaining finalist applications will be awarded certificates of recognition.
Eligibility Criteria
Applications are open to individuals, groups, or organizations from any country, but the proposed concepts should have a broader impact that extends beyond national borders, either in their scope or approach. The prize recognizes innovative ideas from individuals, groups, or organizations (public or private sector) that demonstrate significant potential to address challenges related to peace and security.
Employees, staff, current fellows, and current participants of the GCSP, along with their family members, are not eligible. To be eligible, individuals in these categories must have had no active relationship with the GCSP for at least one year.
Applications must be submitted in English.
**Selection Criteria**
A panel of judges will choose the winners (first, second, and third place) based on the following criteria:
- Commitment to sustainable global peace and security
- Creativity
- Originality
- Transformative potential
- Sustainability
- Potential for incubation
- Feasibility of implementation
- Potential impact on peace and security
