FULLY FUNDED TO GERMANY: Apply for the TUM International Summer School on Sustainable Energies and Entrepreneurship scholarship 2025

The Technical University of Munich (TUM) is inviting applications for the International Summer School 2025 on Sustainable Energies and Entrepreneurship. This program, organized by the TUM SEED Center, offers an exceptional opportunity for master’s students and young professionals from the Global South to enhance their knowledge in sustainable energy solutions and entrepreneurship. The summer school will take place in Munich, Germany, from July 14 to July 25, 2025.

The TUM SEED Center is a distinguished Excellence Centre for Exchange and Development, funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. The center was established to promote higher education and research that addresses sustainable energy solutions, entrepreneurship, and development in the Global South. It collaborates with ten prominent technical universities worldwide, including institutions in Uganda, Ethiopia, Kenya, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Namibia, Peru, Burkina Faso, and South Africa. The summer school aligns with the center’s mission to equip future leaders with the skills and knowledge to drive positive change in their communities.

Applicants must be either master’s students or recent graduates with a bachelor’s degree from one of the TUM SEED Center’s partner universities. They should demonstrate academic excellence and a deep interest in sustainable energy solutions and entrepreneurship. Candidates must be passionate about contributing to sustainable development and interdisciplinary research in these fields. The selection committee encourages applications from women and individuals with disabilities, reflecting the program’s commitment to inclusivity and equal opportunities.

The scholarship will cover the participant fee, accommodation, and travel expenses. However, participants are solely responsible for organizing their visa applications and other logistical matters. While the TUM SEED Center may offer guidance, all formal arrangements must be handled by the selected participants. If a participant cannot attend due to visa challenges or personal reasons, the scholarship will not be transferred or deferred. Additionally, any flight modifications, cancellations, or missed flights will be the participant’s responsibility, with no financial coverage provided by the program.

This is a unique opportunity for young professionals and students to gain valuable knowledge, network with like-minded individuals, and contribute to sustainable development in their regions.
