Fully Funded to Italy : Apply The Policy Leader Fellowship 2025

Inspired and informed by their job experience, the fellows work at the STG for five or ten months, creating practical solutions and policy proposals for urgent issues of international relevance. In order to improve their fellowship project, the fellows can also freely engage in the academic life and activities of the EUI and attend professional skills trainings. By contributing their first-hand knowledge to the School's training, networking, and teaching, the fellows also benefit the STG community.

Program Benefits

€2,500 per month (or at least €1,750 if more money is obtained) is the grant amount.
Family Allowances: €300 per month for a spouse (if their monthly salary is less than €2,000).€200 per dependent child each month (subject to certain restrictions).
Income Without Taxes: EUI does not tax fellowships.

Travel reimbursement for first-class rail or economy airfare to and from Florence is up to €1,200.

Eligibility Criteria

Professional Experience: At least ten years of stable work experience in a field related to policy. Usually, only academic profiles are taken into account.

A bachelor's degree or its equivalent is the minimum educational requirement.

Professional Qualities: Self-driven, self-motivated, and able to finish fellowship tasks on their own. keen to participate in multidisciplinary conversations and open-minded.

Alignment with Focus Areas: Work should generally be in line with faculty research areas and STG programs. Although candidates targeting STG-related policy topics are given preference, other themes may be taken into consideration.
