FULLY FUNDED TO MUNICH: Apply for the AstraZeneca youth health program to attend the One Young World Summit 2025

Applications are currently open for the 2025 AstraZeneca Young Health Programme (YHP) Scholarship, designed for dedicated young leaders passionate about combating plagiarism and promoting academic integrity. The YHP Impact Fellowship supports young advocates committed to fostering a culture of originality and honesty in their communities. The fellowship provides financial grants, capacity-building opportunities, and participation in the prestigious One Young World Summit to help fellows create meaningful change.

Selected fellows will receive a fully-funded One Young World Scholarship to attend the 2025 Summit in Munich, Germany, along with a US $10,000 grant to implement a project through their registered non-profit organisation. Fellows selected as Lead2030 Challenge winners will receive an elevated grant of US $50,000. Beyond funding, participants will gain access to tailored leadership development programmes and exclusive networking opportunities to support their professional growth.

AstraZeneca is seeking young leaders from across the globe who are actively engaged in promoting academic integrity by raising awareness about plagiarism, advocating for ethical research practices, and pushing for policies that uphold originality in educational institutions. Eligible projects should focus on empowering young people to understand the importance of academic honesty, develop plagiarism detection tools, or advocate for stronger institutional frameworks that deter intellectual theft.

Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 30, possess proficiency in English, and be able to participate fully in-person at the One Young World Summit in Munich. They should demonstrate a commitment to sharing knowledge, co-creating actionable solutions, and serving as ambassadors for AstraZeneca’s vision of academic integrity. Candidates must have reliable internet access and the necessary devices to participate in virtual fellowship sessions.

Eligible applicants should be founders or leaders of registered non-profit organisations operating for at least three years. To qualify for the $10,000 grant, organisations must have reported an annual income between $10,000 and $1,000,000 in the previous financial year. For consideration of the $50,000 grant, organisations must have an annual income between $100,000 and $2,000,000. Applicants must be prepared to provide comprehensive documentation in English to verify their organisation’s status, governance, and financial health, with the grant distribution expected between October 2025 and April 2026.

Proposed projects must span between 6 to 12 months and focus on empowering young people to resist plagiarism, advocate for academic transparency, and promote ethical writing practices. The projects should aim to influence policy changes, raise awareness on the dangers of intellectual dishonesty, and provide resources to foster originality among students and educators. Projects must be inclusive, measurable, and demonstrate tangible impact within underserved communities. Successful applicants will be required to submit reports detailing the number of young people reached, policy changes influenced, and overall project outcomes.

The fellowship offers comprehensive benefits, including access to global networks, development opportunities, and funding to implement impactful projects. Fellows will become part of AstraZeneca’s Young Health Programme Advisory Board, gain membership in the One Young World Ambassador Network, and access the One Young World Academy’s mini-MBA programme. This initiative empowers young leaders to scale their impact, strengthen their advocacy skills, and contribute to a global movement that champions academic integrity.
