FULLY FUNDED TO NORWAY : Apply for the ASEFYLS Capacity Training 2026 – Youth Leadership Programme
Applications are now open for the ASEFYLS Capacity Training 2026, an international youth leadership programme designed to strengthen cooperation between young leaders from Asia and Europe.
The initiative brings together emerging youth professionals and student leaders to explore leadership, youth policy development, and strategies for navigating global uncertainty. Participants will contribute their perspectives to help shape recommendations presented to policymakers across both regions.
The programme combines online learning, community action, and an advanced in-person leadership training opportunity in Norway for selected participants.
Programme Structure
Online Capacity Training
Dates: 9 June – 30 July 2026
Format: Virtual learning sessions
Participants will engage in interactive workshops, discussions, and collaborative activities focusing on:
- Youth leadership and governance
- Policy engagement and advocacy
- Future thinking and anticipatory leadership
- Cross-regional dialogue between Asia and Europe
- Addressing global uncertainty through youth perspectives
Community Action Phase
Period: August – November 2026
Participants will implement local initiatives applying knowledge gained during the training. The goal is to create measurable community impact while strengthening youth engagement at local and regional levels.
Advanced Leadership Training in Norway (Selected Participants)
Forty highly engaged participants will be invited to attend:
Asia-Europe Youth Leadership Training: Anticipatory Leadership in the Arctic
Location: Tromsø, Norway
Dates: 23–29 August 2026
This intensive programme focuses on leadership in rapidly changing environments and global policy collaboration.
Financial Support
Participation is fully funded.
The organizers provide:
- No participation or registration fees
- Full access to online training and certification
- Programme value covered by organizers (approx. SGD 1,000 per participant)
For the Norway leadership training, selected participants receive:
- Training programme costs covered
- Accommodation and meals
- Travel subsidy for international flights
- Estimated programme value of SGD 6,500 per participant
