Applications are officially open for the 2025 AI MENA Cohort by ChangemakerXchange, a unique regional gathering designed to empower young innovators from the Middle East and North Africa. This initiative brings together youth leaders and changemakers who are actively driving positive change in their communities. Through curated support and exposure to artificial intelligence experts, participants will explore how AI can elevate their initiatives and strengthen their team’s technological adaptability.

This programme is tailored for individuals between the ages of 18 and 35 who are committed to making a social or environmental difference. It particularly welcomes applicants from a wide array of backgrounds and experiences. The main objective is to boost their confidence and competence in applying AI solutions to enhance the impact of their ongoing work.

From May to November 2025, selected individuals will engage in a fully virtual programme. Eligibility will depend on the scope and future potential of their project, the feasibility of integrating AI to reduce workload or optimize operations, and the team’s overall readiness and openness to technological transformation. Basic digital literacy among team members is expected.

Only changemakers from the following countries can apply: Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.

The programme offers three main pillars of support. A resource hub will be publicly available to anyone interested, without the need for registration. Additionally, masterclasses will be held for those who register early, as space is limited. The cohort experience, however, is exclusive to selected applicants following a competitive application process.

All expenses related to the programme will be fully covered, including training, expert consultations, facilitation, and community-building activities after the cohort concludes.
