FUNDED : Apply for the GAUC’s Climate x Leadership Program

The 2024 "Climate x" Leadership Training Program is a ground-breaking program of the Global Alliance of Universities on Climate (GAUC) that aims to provide young leaders with the necessary knowledge and abilities to spearhead global sustainability initiatives.

Aware of the critical role that youth play in attaining a net-zero future, the program emphasises how climate action and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN are interdependent.

Program Synopsis

This extensive training encourages interdisciplinary cooperation and creative solutions by highlighting the connections between climate initiatives and more general development objectives. A month-long immersion program will be offered to participants, encompassing modules on climate and energy, global climate governance, AI innovation, and climate health, all supported by sessions on leadership development.

Vision and Objectives

The goal of "Climate x" is to change participants into proactive leaders who will not only inherit a sustainable future, but also help to design and steer it. The program seeks to develop a new generation of leaders who can navigate and tackle challenging global issues by promoting respect for the environment and cross-disciplinary problem-solving.
