The YOUNGO and the UNFCCC ACE team, in collaboration with various partners, are pleased to announce the organization of an ACE Hub Youth Event scheduled to take place in Bonn, Germany, from 5th to 7th June 2023 (dates tentative).
The event will focus on community-based climate advocacy, action, and initiatives at the local and subnational levels. It will span three days, featuring skills development modules and interactive training sessions led by experts.
Participants, including 25 international youth and 25 from NRW, will have the opportunity for networking, knowledge sharing, and engagement with regional and international experts.
Additionally, participants may attend the 60th session of the subsidiary bodies at the World Conference Center Bonn.
Applicants must meet specific criteria and terms and conditions outlined in the application guidelines.

Additional Information
- Age range: 18 to 35 during the event.
- Fluent in English, with oral proficiency.
- Able to attend the event in person for its entire duration.
- Interest or experience in one or more ACE elements, including climate education, public awareness, training, public participation, and access to information.
- Ideally engaged or employed in climate change issues at the local level, collaborating with cities, municipalities, or subnational governments on community-based climate advocacy, action, and initiatives.
