FUNDED FOR UGANDAN YOUTH: Apply for LEO Africa Institute’s Huduma Fellowship for Civic and Public sector young leaders 2024 now!
The LéO Africa Institute, in collaboration with the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, presents the Huduma Fellowship—an annual initiative in Uganda aimed at providing thought leadership training for emerging civic and public sector champions.
This program, enrolling 15 outstanding individuals each year, focuses on leadership, change, and innovation. The fellowship utilizes various methods, including face-to-face presentations and online studies, incorporating faculty presentations, case studies, personal assessments, group exercises, and special projects.
Participants, aged 25-35, already engaged in or aspiring to work in civic and public service, undergo a comprehensive learning experience.
The selection criteria prioritize individuals with a demonstrable interest in volunteerism and public affairs, fostering intellectual curiosity among early-stage professionals in Uganda's civic and public sectors.
The fellowship guides fellows in developing a personal action plan to enhance their leadership and influencing skills for both the program and their post-fellowship career development.
