FUNDING FOR COP29: Apply for this CVF Youth Fellowship 2024 for a chance to attend COP29 in Azerbaijani

The Climate Vulnerable Forum (CVF) Youth Fellowship Program is a seven-month training program for young leaders in CVF countries. Its goal is to help them become active participants in decision-making and policy talks. Led by Youth Climate Reality Leaders in the Philippines, the program aims to support the CVF by empowering a new generation of climate negotiators, policymakers, and lobbyists. They'll gain the skills and knowledge to influence climate policy discussions at all levels.

The CVF is a group of 68 countries highly vulnerable to a warming planet. These countries represent about 1.74 billion people. They include countries in Asia, Africa, Caribbean among others. (Check official cc’d countries via the official link)

What's expected from the CVF Youth Fellows? Fellows need to commit to the whole program, with only one excused absence allowed from a synchronous session. We'll set a standard time for all sessions during the Orientation. Fellows must complete all tasks, assessments, and creative outputs to receive funding for COP29 attendance. They also need to be available for the entire duration of COP. After COP29, fellows will be encouraged to advocate for greater youth representation in climate policy in their countries.
