GRANT : Apply for the Juntanza Fund
The Comic Relief Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is inviting applications for the next round of the Juntanza Fund, a grant program created to support youth-driven ideas that strengthen communities and advance social justice. The name “Juntanza,” rooted in Afro-descendant traditions from Colombia, speaks to unity, mutual support, and collective action — values at the heart of this fund.
This call is open to youth-led organizations and groups working to improve lives through health and wellbeing, technology, art and storytelling, or climate and environmental sustainability. Applicants are encouraged to explore how their work intersects with gender equity, disability inclusion, social justice, transparency, and youth leadership.
Projects may focus on:
1. Health & Wellbeing
Efforts that strengthen mental, emotional, and physical health for young people — especially in regions where poverty, limited access to health services, disability exclusion, or adolescent health challenges require community-centered solutions.
2. Technology, Art & Narrative Change
Youth-led innovations that use digital tools, creative media, or storytelling to uplift marginalized voices, counter misinformation, challenge bias, and build more inclusive digital and cultural spaces.
3. Climate & Sustainability
Initiatives that help communities adapt to climate change, protect natural resources, restore ecosystems, or create sustainable local livelihoods — especially in areas most affected by environmental crises.
