GRANTS: Apply for the Pollination Project Daily Grants program 2025 for young changemakers worldwide

The Pollination Project is inviting applications for its Daily Grant initiative, which aims to provide the initial boost necessary for individuals or organizations to advance their work and create meaningful impact. In 2025, the program seeks to foster a more equitable, sustainable, and compassionate global society by supporting grassroots efforts led by communities. Rather than limiting the scope of funding to specific issues or locations, they prioritize projects that align with their vision of a better world, provided the proposals meet their established criteria.

Selected applicants will receive seed funding of up to $1,000 USD. Beyond the financial grant, they emphasize building long-term relationships with changemakers and supporting their journeys well after the initial funding is utilized. Successful grantees become part of a global network of activists and are eligible for additional funding opportunities, capacity-building initiatives, and exposure through media channels. Furthermore, grantees may request fiscal sponsorship on a project-by-project basis, enabling them to accept contributions from external donors. Once grantees complete their initial project reporting, they may also receive assistance connecting with other funders.

When assessing applications, the organization considers several factors, including the potential impact of the proposed project, the effectiveness of the $1,000 grant in advancing its objectives, and the applicant’s ability to mobilize additional resources. They value initiatives where the applicant demonstrates strong ties to the community being served and a commitment to leveraging non-financial contributions, such as volunteer engagement or in-kind support.

However, not all projects or expenses qualify for funding. For instance, the program does not support academic research, political activities, or initiatives involving animal farming or products derived from animals. Proposals with discriminatory practices or those promoting religious participation are also ineligible. Additionally, the grant cannot be used to compensate grantees or their relatives for services rendered, nor can it fund disposable plastic products, synthetic chemicals, or non-recycled materials.

Eligible applicants can be individuals, collectives, or emerging nonprofit organizations located anywhere in the world. To qualify, the project must have a charitable purpose, be under a total budget of $10,000 USD, and the applicant or organization must be able to receive wire transfers. Organizations must operate with no paid staff, aside from occasional professional services, and their annual budgets must remain under $50,000 USD. Moreover, previous recipients of the Daily Grant are not eligible to reapply.

The Pollination Project’s Daily Grant in 2025 represents an opportunity for visionaries committed to community-driven change to gain the support they need to make a difference. By championing grassroots efforts, they continue to work towards a world where justice, sustainability, and compassion prevail.
