HYBRID :Call for Abstracts – II. International Relations and Diplomacy Conference 2026 in Hungary
Researchers, scholars, diplomats, and postgraduate students are invited to submit abstracts for the II. International Relations and Diplomacy Conference themed “Challenges, Cooperation and Multilateralism in a Changing Global Order.”
The hybrid conference will take place from 1–3 October 2026 in Budapest, Hungary, hosted by Ludovika – University of Public Service.
The event will bring together academics and practitioners from around the world to explore emerging issues shaping international politics, diplomacy, regional security, and multilateral cooperation in an increasingly complex global landscape.
Conference Themes
Participants are encouraged to submit abstracts related to:
- Diplomacy
- International Relations
- Regional Security
- Security Studies
- Artificial Intelligence in Foreign and Security Policy
The conference aims to promote interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration among researchers, policymakers, and international experts.

The event will be conducted in both physical and online formats.

Presentations may also be delivered in German.
Abstract Submission Requirements
Applicants must submit:
- An abstract between 150–200 words
- Five keywords
- Submission in the language of presentation
All accepted abstracts will be included in the official online Book of Abstracts.

- Final Acceptance Notification: 2 September 2026
- Preliminary Programme Release: 15 September 2026
