1.The U.S. Mission in Uganda is seeking qualified candidates for the Supply Clerk position, offering a 40-hour weekly work schedule and a four-week start date.

No supervisory position. Nonetheless, if directed by the supply supervisor, the incumbent may oversee delivery staff, vendors, and service providers.

The duties of a Supply Clerk (Receiving) include managing the Department of State and related agencies' property management services' receiving, tracking, inspection, distribution, and inventory. Under the direction of the GSO Supply Supervisor (Receiving), the role is located in the General Services Section.

Credentials and Assessments

EDUCATION: It is necessary to complete high school education.

Conditions:

EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of minimum experience in property/supply management or supply/warehousing/expendables is needed.

WORK EXPERTISE:

Proficiency in Department of State and Embassy supply rules and processes, as well as SHEM safety guidelines, is required.
Needs to be well-versed in the Embassy's many agencies and internal structure.
Proficiency in supply chain management and warehouse operations, encompassing the receipt, inspection, tracking, storage, and issuance of supplies, is a prerequisite.
A solid understanding of computerised stock control and inventory data systems is required.

The job requires English level III or Luganda level III proficiency. Applicants must have computer and math skills, inventory management knowledge, and a valid Class B driver's license.  2.The U.S. Mission in Uganda is seeking qualified candidates for the NEPA Control Clerk position, offering a full-time 40-hour work schedule and a four-week start date.

Yes, in a supervisory position. NEPA clerk assistant.

Responsibilities include keeping track of the location and status of the entire inventory of non-expendable property, ensuring the integrity and safekeeping of USG property by collaborating with all sixteen ICASS agencies and all GSO sections, and evaluating reports that are coming in and going out.

The job requires a high level of education, two years of experience in a specific field, basic computer data entry skills, excellent English language skills, and the ability to handle repetitive tasks. Candidates must also possess interpersonal skills and be able to relocate property for accurate data capture.

3.For the post of Supply Clerk, the U.S. Mission in Uganda is looking for competent candidates who meet the requirements.

Full-time, 40-hour work weeks are required for this role, which will begin four weeks after agency authorization. Under supervision, the employee will carry out warehouse tasks such as inventory management, data entry, and housekeeping.

In addition to a comprehensive understanding of Department of State supply procedures, proficiency in the English language, warehousing management principles, stock management software, and a minimum of two years of work experience in stores or warehouses, the position also requires solid computer skills. In addition to passing security and medical certifications, candidates must possess a current driver's licence issued in Uganda.

4. Application materials are being accepted by the U.S. Mission in Uganda for the post of Supply Supervisor (Non-Expendable Asset Supervisor).

The position requires a full-time 40-hour workweek, starting within four weeks of receiving agency authorization. The position is located in the Asset Management section of the General Services Office, supervising three Supply Clerks and the Property Management Supervisor.

The job requires a Secondary school degree, three years of progressively responsible experience in supply or asset management operations, and basic knowledge of property and asset management processes. English level III is required for evaluations. The candidate should be able to organize, manage, and supervise the post supply program efficiently, follow U.S. government property regulations, and have interpersonal and customer service skills. Medical and security certifications are also required.

5. Applications are being accepted for the post of Budget Analyst at the U.S. Mission in Uganda from eligible and qualified candidates.

The position requires a full-time 40-hour workweek, starting within four weeks of receiving agency authorization. The incumbent oversees multiple post-budgets, formulates budgets, monitors and reports, and responds to data calls. They also research and compute costs, establish expense levels, and advise agencies on budget variations. They can forecast and project expenditure, and prepare reports for assigned agencies and the Financial Management Officer.

The job requires a university degree in accounting, business administration, or finance. Three to five years of experience in financial management and budgeting is required. English level IV is required for evaluations. Applicants must relate funds management to mission, programs, and projects, understand budget management, and possess interpersonal skills. Medical and security certifications are required.
