1.Position Title: Gardener

The U.S. Mission in Uganda is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Gardener.

The position requires a full-time, 40-hour work schedule, with a start date of a reasonable time following agency authorization and clearances/certifications.

Responsibilities: allocated to the Facilities Maintenance department, which is in charge of keeping the grounds maintained and carrying out other allocated semi-skilled household tasks.

Credentials and Assessments

EDUCATION: It is necessary to complete elementary (basic) school.

Conditions:

EXPERIENCE: You must have two years of gardening experience.

JOB KNOWLEDGE: Planting (silviculture) and caring for plants and flowers (floriculture) are necessary skills.

Assessments: (This might be examined)

Language: Requires Level I English (Limited) proficiency.

Basic skills, manual labour, and appropriate tool and material handling are required for the task. In addition to passing security and medical exams, applicants must possess a current driver's licence issued in Uganda.

2.Position Title: Chauffeur (3 positions)

The U.S. Mission in Uganda is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the positions of Chauffeur.

The position requires a full-time, 45-hour work schedule, with a start date of 4 weeks after receiving agency authorization and clearances/certifications.

Work: Chauffeur Accountabilities:

The incumbent drives a motor vehicle that is either leased or owned by the US government and is not armoured securely and effectively in order to convey people or goods. fulfils instructions to act as a messenger.

Credentials and Assessments

EDUCATION: It is necessary to complete high school education.

Conditions:

EXPERIENCE: It is necessary to have at least three years of professional driving experience.

WORK EXPERTISE:

The city and its surroundings, including travel routes and traffic patterns, must be well-known to you. Must be aware of where the city's and its local environs' police, fire, and hospital stations are located.

3. Position Title:  Fuel Clerk/Laborer

The U.S. Mission in Uganda is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Fuel Clerk/laborer.

Start date: Upon receiving agency approvals and/or clearances/certifications, the candidate must be able to start working within a reasonable four weeks, failing which their candidature may be terminated.

No, supervisory position.

Among his responsibilities are manual labour tasks, government vehicle cleaning and washing, and gasoline clerk work.

Credentials and Assessments

EDUCATION: Secondary school completion is necessary.

Conditions:

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of one year of managing bulk supplies or commodities is necessary, out of two years of labourer experience.

WORK EXPERTISE:

It is necessary to be familiar with all of the organization's departments and agencies in order to record commodity consumption in the web pass system. Need to be aware of the market value, the potential for misuse, and the sensitivities involved in handling gasoline. familiarity with using a petrol pump.
