The African Group of Negotiators Experts Support (AGNES), working in partnership with Equal Right, is welcoming applications for an Early Career Climate Fellowship with a focus on climate justice and equitable climate finance in Africa.

This fellowship is designed to support emerging professionals who are passionate about fairness, inclusion, and accountability in climate action. The selected fellow will contribute to research, policy engagement, and advocacy efforts aimed at strengthening climate justice outcomes and improving access to equitable climate finance across the African continent.

Fellowship Focus

The fellowship centres on advancing climate justice by supporting evidence-based policy work, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy linked to African climate priorities. The fellow will work closely with experts and practitioners involved in regional and international climate processes.
