Nominate your self for the ISETS-ESCAP Global Competition of Youth Voice on Energy Transition & Youth Dialogue

With great pride, the International Society for Energy Transition Studies (ISETS) presents the biennial Youth Voice on Energy Transition Program, presented in collaboration with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP).This program is in line with the UN Secretary-General's objective to involve young people in debates about important worldwide concerns, such as the switch to sustainable energy. Seeing how important it is for youth to be change agents, the Program seeks to utilise youth energy, inventiveness, and dynamism to further the worldwide effort to transition to sustainable energy.

The Youth Voice Competition (also known as the Global Youth Voice Competition) and the Youth Dialogue are the two main components of the program. Youth from all around the world are invited to participate in the Youth Voice Competition and showcase their creative concepts, inventions, goods, initiatives, and fixes that will further the energy transition. The winners of the competition will be invited to take part in annual energy-related meetings and events at ESCAP headquarters, including the Youth Dialogue.

This agreement gives young people a rare opportunity to participate directly in conversations, see official UN energy events, and have conversations with officials and decision-makers. This innovative program aims to empower youth to participate in the global conversation on energy transition, going beyond just providing a platform for them to express themselves.

The main goals of the ISETS-ESCAP Global Competition of Youth Voice on the Energy Transition are to: raise the voices of young people in favour of green development and the energy transition; encourage young people from different backgrounds to take action for a just transition; stimulate creativity in the creation of new technologies and energy transition solutions; and facilitate cross-border collaboration in the fight against climate change.
