Nominations open for Future for Nature Award

Are you a youthful, enthusiastic environmentalist who is devoted to preserving wildlife? Do you take action and combine your passion for wildlife conservation to produce tangible results? Are you nature's future? The Future for Nature Award is then open for you to apply for.

The Future for Nature Foundation (FFN) provides funding to enthusiastic, gifted, and youthful environmentalists who are dedicated to preserving wild plant and animal species. They think that each person has power. As a result, they choose a new generation of environmentalists who they think will have a significant impact on nature's future. Natural leaders who motivate others and accomplish remarkable things with "stubbornness" and desire. They highlight three of these bright young things every year.

Young wildlife conservationists up to 35 years old from all around the world apply for this prize. The National Selection Committee selects six to ten nominees from among all the applications; the committee is made up of seasoned Dutch environment activists. The three winners are then chosen by an International Selection Committee comprised of distinguished nature conservationists.

Aims

Don't miss out on the application deadline which is 23 August 2024.

Future for Nature Foundation.
Program Type
Fully Funded
Program Benefits
- Each of the winners gets the distinguished FFN Award in addition to 50,000 euros. Since they are the ones who know where the money is most needed, the winners are free to use it anyway they see fit in the name of nature protection. Furthermore, Future For Nature provides far more than just one-time cash assistance.

-Gaining international recognition for their work and opening doors that were previously closed, the FFN Award winners do both.
By providing the winners with a platform and showcasing their tales to a broad audience and conservationists, FFN enables them to have a bigger impact and boost their access to funding.
Through the Future For Nature Academy, they also grant the previous winners an additional platform. This autonomously operating committee works for and with students in a number of Dutch towns, providing them with resources like seminars, networking opportunities, and lectures in an effort to encourage them to get involved in environmental protection.

- FFN is creating a network of like-minded individuals by uniting a growing Family of (past) winners, committed individuals. To continue their battle for nature as effectively and efficiently as possible, FFN provides them with the chance to interact and share knowledge with one another.
The Future For Nature Award ceremony at Royal Burgers' Zoo in Arnhem, the Netherlands, will feature the work of the winners. It is scheduled for May of 2025. The Future For Nature Foundation will pay for the costs of travel and lodging.
