Join the Climate Champions Youth Fellowship and Lead the Way in Climate Action
Young people and future generations play a crucial role in preserving the environment for the future, and many are already stepping into leadership and expert roles today. To amplify their impact, the Climate Champions Team is dedicated to supporting youth in driving meaningful climate action. They are now seeking new Youth Fellows who will work closely with the UN Climate Change High-Level Champions for COP29 and COP30, contributing to real progress in global climate discussions.
As part of this fellowship, participants will be at the forefront of efforts to mobilize broader participation in climate action. Fellows will collaborate with key entities, including the UNFCCC, the Marrakech Partnership, and the COP Presidencies, to advance climate goals and strategic initiatives. The fellowship will run from June to December 2025, with a primary focus on crucial areas such as the Race to Zero and Race to Resilience campaigns, transforming systemic frameworks like finance, engaging various stakeholders, and developing effective communication strategies.
This paid fellowship requires a commitment of 16 hours per week and provides a wealth of opportunities for personal and professional development. Fellows will receive leadership training, one-on-one mentoring, and experience working with youth organizations on a local, regional, and global scale. The program emphasizes collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and collective problem-solving through joint projects and outreach initiatives.
Additionally, fellows will be funded to attend COP30 in Belém, Brazil, offering a unique chance to engage directly with global climate leaders and policymakers. This immersive experience will provide invaluable exposure to the international climate action landscape and allow fellows to further contribute to shaping climate solutions on the world stage.
