Internship Role: Carbon Pricing Unit (CPU), Seoul
GGGI seeks a highly motivated and capable individual with a keen interest in climate mitigation and carbon markets to join the Carbon Pricing Unit in Seoul. The intern will assist with technical content development and knowledge-sharing efforts for the Carbon Transaction Facility (CTF).
Key responsibilities may include:
- Developing training materials related to Article 6 of the Paris Agreement
- Supporting the creation of resources for country teams to help implement the CTF
- Assisting in drafting knowledge products, such as tools for evaluating or launching new projects (e.g., templates, budgets, reports)
- Conducting research on updates from the UNFCCC and other technical bodies, summarizing key insights
- Reviewing consultancy documents linked to CTF operations
- Scheduling and coordinating meetings with internal and external partners
- Attending meetings, taking notes, and circulating approved minutes
- Systematically organizing and managing documents
- Performing other tasks related to the CTF and the Carbon Pricing Unit

Internship Terms & Conditions
- Confidentiality: All unpublished materials accessed during the internship must remain confidential.
- Academic Credit: Interns should consult their universities regarding academic credit eligibility.
- Work Schedule: Interns are expected to follow regular office hours. Any leave must be approved by the Intern Manager.
- Learning Review: Intern Managers will review learning outcomes before the internship concludes.
- Completion Certificate: Available upon request after successful completion.

Additional Information
Visa: GGGI will issue a visa support letter, but obtaining the visa is the intern’s responsibility.
Travel: Interns are responsible for arranging and funding their own travel.

Be enrolled in the final year of a Bachelor's, or pursuing a Master’s or PhD program, or be a recent graduate (within the past 12 months)
