One of the top global health organisations, the Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc. (CHAI), is committed to lowering the burden of disease and saving lives in low- and middle-income nations. In order to increase access to care and treatment, CHAI collaborates with both public and private sectors to create long-lasting, superior health systems.
Since its founding in 2002, CHAI has broadened its scope to address urgent health issues beyond HIV/AIDS, such as non-communicable diseases like diabetes and cancer and infectious diseases like hepatitis, malaria, TB, and COVID-19. Additionally, chronic malnutrition, vaccine accessibility, assistive technology, and maternity and child health are all part of our purpose.
Concerning the Internship Program
Internships with CHAI provide a special opportunity to create professional networks in the area, obtain practical experience, and contribute to worthwhile global health projects. In our program nations, interns collaborate with CHAI specialists on projects that improve public health outcomes.

Additional Information
Duration: full-time, 8–16 weeks.
Depending on the demands of the program, the location may be in-office, remote (within CHAI's operating nations), or hybrid.
Compensation: In accordance with regional labour regulations, CHAI offers equitable compensation and assistance, such as stipends, per diem, and help with travel and lodging.
- Enrollment in a postgraduate degree program (public health, international development, economics, business) or final-year undergraduate students.
- A strong passion for CHAI’s mission and global health.
- Research and analytical skills, with familiarity in tools such as Excel, SPSS, or Python being a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an appreciation for cultural diversity.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in dynamic environments.
- Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a bonus.
